How we research and review guides

Travel policies change often, and a guide that was right last year can be wrong today. This is how we try to stay accurate.

Sourcing

Policy details come from the operator's own published terms wherever possible — airline conditions of carriage, airport websites, hotel brand policies, and the relevant regulator. Where a rule varies by fare class, route or region, we say so rather than quoting a single number.

Review and verification

Guides carry the date they were last checked. When a policy changes, the guide is updated and the verification date moves with it. Where we cannot confirm a detail, we say that instead of guessing.

Corrections

If you find something wrong, tell us. Corrections are made promptly and the guide's last-checked date is updated to reflect the change.

Independence

We do not accept payment to change what a guide says. Names and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and no mention on this site implies affiliation or endorsement.
